1. Create or open a library
Use a stable storage location and confirm that the library opens correctly.
2. Import images
Import a folder, reference an existing volume, or migrate a Lightroom Classic catalog.
3. Review project context
Check title, description, dates, people, tags, collections, and rights information.
4. Archive the project
Create a compressed package with manifest and signature. Add encryption only if the restore constraints are acceptable.
5. Verify and back up
Run integrity checks, then copy the archive to local, NAS, or S3-compatible destinations.
